I had a car accident in 95 that left me in a wheelchair for 7 months and after that I walked with a cane. My right arm is disabled and I am unable to raise it. After many years of physical therapy my range in my arm hadn't change very much. I thought I would give personal training a try and WOW, the results were amazing. not only did I have more movement in arm, I could raise it higher than any doctor thought possible but I could also do push up and even got to the point where I could do pull ups. I am completely happy with my results and would recommend Steve to anyone looking for a training.....and bonus he is funny. Steven Farmer is the first personal trainer I ever worked with. I was so nervous being a 50 year old woman who has struggled with my weight my entire life. I was weak and so very out of shape. Started working out with Steven following a significant neck surgery that required me to skip all physically activity for 6 months. When we started, I was barely able to to a set of body weight squats or barbell-only bench press. After 1.5 years of training, I’m actually reaching new personal max records and am back to deadlifting 275 lbs and squatting 200lbs. All without injury, supplements, or risking my neck. I have been working out with Steven for about 2 years. I was very hesitant about getting into weight training as I'm over 50 and thought I'd get "big". Steven proved me wrong and I'm the most fit I've ever been. I look better now in my 50's than I did in my 30s. Steven will build a plan for you depending on your goal. He is a wealth of information both from training perspective and nutrition. I continue to work out with Steven as he is the push that I need to do more. If left to myself I'm not sure I'd be doing dead lifts etc. (nor did I ever think I'd try one of those). Best of all, he is real....we have many laughs and fun while working out.
